Education Program
GOPHER RIDGE OUTDOOR MINISTRIES mission is to seek to encourage and empower fatherless children, disabled veterans, law enforcement and firefighters injured in the line of duty who are physically challenged, through guided fishing, hunting, archery, kayaking, planting, safety, small equipment repair, just to name a few, and to provide instruction with experience; providing skills that will benefit them throughout their lives, such as work ethic, resilience, grit, integrity, self-awareness, control, and strong communication skills. GOPHER RIDGE OUTDOOR MINISTRIES will attempt to accomplish this by developing activities in the areas of outdoor sports while sharing and living out the gospel of Christ. Our desire is to see lives transformed and create self-confidence and hope for the future.
Our Education Program activities will take place quarterly and will be taught by several staff members and volunteers ministering, mentoring and coaching individuals or groups during an event.

Ministry Program
As Bible-believing Christians, we believe God has called us to share His truth with the world, to give others the opportunity to hear the gospel, and to make disciples of Jesus Christ. As such, GOPHER RIDGE OUTDOOR MINISTRIES will create an environment so that we can have a deeper impact within the lives of our participants as well as those in the surrounding communities.
Community involvement will consist of building relationships with those in our vicinity and learning of and responding to needs as they arise. This could involve assisting with the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of community members if it is deemed necessary and beneficial on a case-by-case basis throughout the year.

A FInal Word on Our Programs
We at GOPHER RIDGE OUTDOOR MINISTRIES sincerely believe that our programs will serve people well in the community, and other neighboring states as well, and will provide opportunities that did not exist before, therefore changing lives in the process. It is the hope of GOPHER RIDGE OUTDOOR MINISTRIES that given the opportunity, many of the participants can rise above their situations and become an integral part of their communities, workplaces, families and churches, and be able to serve and give back to their own people who experience similar situations that they experienced.
